Our Basic Plan is designed for clients who want to offer IP Centrex/Hosted PBX services and have the knowledge and experience to deal directly with providers of DIDs, VoIP Origination and Termination services. That plan is better suited to clients with high call volume and/or good relationships with vendors

Feature Description

The listed features allow IP Centrex/Hosted PBX functionality (also referred as Class 5 switching).
Most popular IP Centrex/Hosted PBX features include: Call Hold, Call Transfer, Call Forwarding, DND, Call Wait, Call Return, etc. These types of features allow your residential and business subscribers
to have more versatility and control during phone communications.

Below are the descriptions of the most popular features. Some features (identified with *) require Intelligent IP Phones provided as part of the service package. Other features (identified with **) require the subscribers to visit a centralized service web site and enable or disable the feature.

Dial Tone/Connectivity* allows the subscriber to hear dial tone once the headset is picked up.
Extension Dialing allows the subscriber to dial extension numbers.
Anonymous Call Rejection** allows the subscriber to turn on and off automated rejections of anonymous calls.
Call Forwarding** allows the subscriber to define a number where the call will be forwarded.
Call Forwarding Selective** allows the subscriber to conditionally define a number where the call will be forwarded.
Call Transfer* allows the subscriber to transfer a call in progress to another number.
Call Hold* allows the subscriber to put the call on hold.
Call Return allows the subscriber to make a direct call to the last number that has called the subscriber number.
Call Waiting** allows the subscriber to turn on anf off the callwaiting feature.
Cancel Call Waiting per Call* allows the subscriber to cancel the call waiting per call.
Calling Line ID Blocking** allows the subscriber to turn on and off "Hide Caller ID"
Calling Line ID Blocking per Call** allows the subscriber to turn on and off "Hide Caller ID"
Consultation Hold* allows the subscriber to put the call on hold and dial an alternative number.
Do Not Disturb** allows the subscriber to turn- on and off the Do-Not-Disturb feature.
Last Number Redial allows the subscriber to redial the last number (redial function).
Speed Dial 8 & Speed Dial 100** allows the subscriber to define 10 speed dial numbers
Three-Way Calling* allows the subscriber to poerform a 3-way calling (3-party private conference)
Cancel Call Waiting* allows the subscriber to turn on and off the call waiting feature.
Call Email Notification** allows the subscriber to define custom call filters to send email notifications.
Custom Call Processing** allows the subscriber to define custom call filters for custom call forwarding and processing.
Distinctive Alert/Ringing* allows the subscriber to define custom phone rings
Remote Office and Administration** allows the subscriber to remotely administer the Centrex features via Web.
Selective Call Acceptance** allows the subscriber to define custom filters to calls calls based on parameters.
Selective Call Rejection** allows the subscriber to define custom filters to reject calls based on parameters.
Shared Call Appearance allows the subscriber to utilize common caller-id while going to outside lines.
White and Black List Support** allows the subscriber to define lists to accept and reject calls based on prefix lists.
Alternate Numbers (unlimited DID support) allows the subscriber to have more than one DID number assigned to a single line.
Local Number Portability allows the subscriber to transfer DID numbers from one carrier to another.
Configurable Feature Codes allows the subscriber to have limited feature codes based on contract ot other restrictions.
   

Voicemail

Voicemail features are part of the Tornado M5 IP Phone devices to allow advanced voicemail management that includes voicemail storage, local and remote retrieval,unified messaging, voicemail-to-email submission, Web voicemail download, configurable custom voicemail greeting, and configurable voicemail menu system. The advanced VoiceMail system is supported on all Tornado M5 IP Phones. The phones support advanced Voicemail features are described below:

VoiceMail Storage* supports storage for up to 50 voicemail messages per phone
VoiceMail-to-Email convert voicemail messages into an email and forwards them to a designated email address
VoiceMail Notification sends voicemail nofitication via email
Unified Messaging advanced voicemail processing
Remote Web Voicemail retrieval allows subscribers to download remotely voicemail messages and delete old messages
Custom Voicemail Greeting allows subscribers to change their voicemail greeting to a custom one
Configurable Voicemail Menu System allows the subscribers to change the audio files ot the menu to their own custom files.
   

Differences between the Basic and the Advanced Plans

Both the Basic and the Advanced plans offer to service providers equal access to IP Centrex/Hosted PBX features. Plans differ by the amount of bundled services. The Basic Plan is designed for clients who want to offer IP Centrex/Hosted PBX services and have the knowledge and experience to deal directly with providers of DIDs, VoIP Origination and VoIP Termination services. That plan is better suited to clients with high call volume and good relationships with vendors. The Advanced Plan is designed as a turnkey solutions for clients who want to start offering IP Centrex/Hosted PBX services immediately, without dealing directly with multiple vendors. In addition to the services included in the Basic Plan, the Advanced Plan includes DID segment allocation, VoIP Origination and VoIP Termination services. The Advanced Plan also includes 500 free US minutes per end user account per month. Additional US minutes are charged separately. International calls are charged separately and rates vary by destination. Service providers have the option to use their own provider(s) of international call termination services.
